If you’ve been following me on the Sandal Press blog, you would have noticed that we did a recent post on new covers. What we were still working on were also new covers for the CHECK YOUR LUCK series. Something that was a little more eye-catching and more in the mood of a first-person fantasy set in an exotic part of the world.
And here they are! (The old covers to the left, the new to the right.)

I’ve been busy changing all the covers over at the various etailers over the past week. This has been a non-trivial task as it’s entailed retooling all the PDF, Mobi and Epub files as well, but I think it’s worth it. I’ll bask for a few minutes in the covers before I get the usual comments back from pernickety DevEd regarding the fourth book. And, as an added bonus, here are the last two covers…..
What I like about the new covers in particular is that I think they clearly highlight the serial nature of the books, “Part x” (to my mind) alluding to a more sequentially-related series than “Book x“.
I’m hoping they’ll translate into more sales, but we’ll see. If you have any comments about the covers, have at it! In the meantime, have a good weekend and I’ll catch you next week.
